International Volunteer Opportunities

Working as a volunteer in a foreign country provides new insights into a foreign, as well as one’s own culture, allows to experience international Christian fellowship first hand and to build ties with Christian brothers and sisters in other countries. World’s Christian Endeavor Union wants to encourage the exchange of volunteers between National CE unions as a means to strengthen the international relations of the CE movement.

How does it work?

Generally the volunteers are young people (18-30 years) who have not completed a professional training. They are not seeking employment, but are willing to help in Christian or charity work for a limited time. Ideally the volunteers would cover their own travel expenses and the hosting organization would provide accommodation and food according to local standards. The time of service may vary between several weeks and a whole year.

World's Christian Endeavor Union is setting up a program for the exchange of volunteers between CE unions. Presently the number of opportunities for volunteers is still quite limited, but we hope to build it up gradually.

If your CE union can offer opportunities for volunteers to stay and help in your country, please answer the questions about volunteer opportunities and return the from to: sma(at)ec-jugend.de.

If you are interested to help as a volunteer in another CE union, please complete the application form and ask a mature Christian for a reference and return both to:
